We have been vacationing to Isla Mujeres for the last few years. This trip we brought several friends along with us and decided to stay at a house outside of the downtown area. This ended up being a great choice for us. The bus passes by about every thirty minutes during the day as it heads into town and for... More

We just returned from another wonderful stay at Casa Luna Turquesa! As always, we enjoyed relaxing and sleeping to the sound of the crashing waves, waking up with the sunrises, hunting seaglass on the beach, and viewing the gorgeous sunsets from the front porch and rooftop! We spent most of our afternoons lounging by the pool staying cool away from... More

It just keeps getting better and better - this was our 6th visit to Isla Mujeres, and our 6th vacation at Casa Luna. The first time we stayed there in 2005, Isla was still a sleepy little island - now it is a thriving community with fabulous restaurants, and lots to do. Casa Luna is still very pretty and well... We stayed at Casa Luna Turquesa in January and were very pleased with the accommodations. The house was very well equipped with everything we needed including cold beer waiting for us in the fridge when we arrived after a very long day of travel. What a nice touch! The property was well tended with lots of room for everyone to... More

We had a lovely time visiting the island. The folks who manage this property were very helpful and nice. They stopped by daily to make sure we were enjoying ourselves, and they gave excellent recommendations of restaurants. However the house it's self is in need of some TLC. In our room there was a broken shade which prevented us from... More

We found this place a bit at the last minute and were pleased with our choice. It is as described in the website. Perhaps a bit further from town than is practical to walk especially if it is hot or dark. We found taxis ran frequently past the Casa and were reasonably priced at $2 - $4. The kitchen in... More

I recently ignored the whole pandemic scare and ventured back to Isla Mujeres and stayed at Casa Luna Turquesa. I had the whole place to myself as all the other guests cancelled. I had the king apartment upstairs with a wonderful view of the ocean and the pool right below. My hosts Linda and Richard lived right next door and... More

I have been coming to Isla Mujeres for over 27 years, so I am familiar with accommodations, restaurants etc. I have stayed in six different hotels over the years and a one of those, I have stayed at over 30 vacations. This was my first time staying at Casa Luna Turquesa, and I was pleasantly surprised. Any time there was... More

Spent two weeks here the first part of January. Great place to stay , private , romantic, right on the beach with a wonderful breeze coming off the ocean. No need to use the air conditioning. Fully equipped with the usual blenders and every appliance. Great pool with a waterfall and all within walking distance to the town center. This... More
