We stayed at this hotel during our recent visit to Cancun. Due to its location, you need a taxi to get around. Most of the staff here (except for Alan) rips you off by channeling you to a taxi that will charge you exorbitant rates. We paid something like $25 for a 3 mile ride. After that, we ended up... More

Dear Courtyard by Marriott Cancun Guest, Yes, we are a hotel located by the airport and our location is 15 minutes drive from downtown Cancun, on which case the fare is $180 pesos or US$15. We were sorry to learn of your dissatisfaction due to the taxi fares charged during your stay. In an effort to avoid any misunderstanding, we... More

My husband and I shared a cab from Playacar to the Cancun airport with friends who had an afternoon flight, and once we figured out how to catch the Courtyard shuttle from the airport, found the Courtyard to be a pleasant surprise. The front desk staff was welcoming and helpful, our room clean and comfortable, and the pool area and... More

I booked this hotel before leaving as we had an early flight. The hotel is perfect for a one night stay. The staff were friendly, the room well appointed. The shuttle departed on Mexico time as opposed to U.S time, but I'd left enough time to catch our flight. The waiter forgot my girlfriend's dinner entree and didn't do anything... More

The first good thing about the Courtyard is the free airport shuttle running about every 30-45 minutes. (Just go to pick up area 27 and wait there or call). The hotel is clean and the staff is very friendly and welcoming. There's a good sized pool and it's quite relaxing when it's quiet. There's a restaurant on site that is... More

We stayed here for one night since we did not want to drive to Merida immediately after landing. The hotel has a free shuttle to/from the airport so they picked us up withing 5 mins of calling them. The rooms are clean, they serve good breakfast, and the staff is very friendly. More

We had an early-morning flight, so we chose this spot for the proximity, free airport shuttle and the pool. Dinner and breakfast were nothing to write home about, but it wasn't the worst food we had on our trip, either. The staff were great. They seemed very overworked over the dinner shift, but they were still exceedingly kind and friendly.... More

We arrived at the hotel around 8:30pm so we decided to overnight here one night and head out to the hotel zone the next morning. we didn't want to spend $450 for a very short night so for $80 we overnighted at the courtyard. we booked it via www.dhr.com and it was a great rate. the $80 already included taxes.... Because of an early morning flight back to the U.S., we reluctantly decided to stay at a chain hotel near the airport. We were expecting a so-so experience but were very pleased and surprised by the high quality of the service and the excellent accommodations in this fine hotel. First of all, the shuttle service was super efficient. We had... More

Airport hotels are for acclimating after the torture of modern air travel and before adventuring into something more interesting. They should be clean, easy to find, predictable, and someone should speak your language. You must be able to make a reservation on-line and that reservation must be cancelable. And it shouldn't be too expensive. The Courtyard Cancun run by the... More

This hotel is fairly new and very convenient to the airport. The building's exterior motif is distinctly Mexican, and inside was everything you'd expect from a Courtyard by Marriott hotel. Our room was clean, comfortable, and the restaurant food and service was very good. The patio/ pool area featured mature landscaping, many trees, and hammocks. I never noticed airport noise,... More
