Just got back from the Great Parnassus and was disappointed with the hotel. I read several of the reviews prior to leaving for my vacation, which made me nervous. Some reviews were good, and some were bad. On the positive side. Front line staff very good and the rooms well laid out and good facilities for young children but that is where it ends. The Hotel is designed similar to a cruise ship. We booked through Travelocity and got a great price, although the cost of the taxi fare to and from the airport to the hotel was not included. you can wait around outside the airport and share the cost of the taxi, we didn't want to do that and paid $50, Ask the hotel to book you a taxi to return... more
