A good family friend on mine, Joseph Bitet, died here a few weeks ago. He fell 5 stories and the hotel has done nothing but lie to everyone and hide the truth about how it happened. The police and especially the hotel are NOT cooperating and his death is still a mystery!!! Horrible horrible place!!!! DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!! More

We arrived at the Riu Cancun Dec 8th- 12th and was greeted immediately by staff with a cold cocktail at the front desk. Our rooms were actually ready before the scheduled check in time. The lobby was beautiful with the Xmas decorations all around it. They were able to put us right next to each other so that was great.... More
