We took advantage of the hotel promotion and got very cheap price, US$53.5 including tax for 3 persons. The staffs are friendly and helpful. I liked the breakfast, it was excellent and included in the room fee. The view through the windows is lagoon and is beautiful. more

Spent 15 nights at the Grand Royal Lagoon in Cancun. It was very hot and humid outside. The AC in the room worked great. Always plenty of hot water in the large shower. Cheap, yes. Clean, no! We pulled back the sheets to find hairs and ants, then on the bathroom walls we found caked on toothpaste and hair. Lets not forget the black mold and bandaids in the shower...and oh yes, the cockroaches! Luckily our stay was for just one night but we will never, ever stay again! more
