So my husband and I have just returned from our two week honeymoon in the Omni, and I would say that if you are considering two weeks at this hotel, that is too long! There are a list of pros and cons, and unfortunately the cons outweigh the pros. We arrived and had a swift check in, and we even... More

Stayed at Omni Cancun Jan21-28th. Very clean hotel with well maintained pools and outdoor spaces. Stayed in ocean-view room first 3 nights and lagoon view last 4. Both rooms were excellent and either view very nice. Ocean view alittle noisier at night from pool and bar, lagoon view noisier in am with construction in the area. Beds comfortable and hotel... First, let me start by qualifying that we have been owners (timeshare) members of this resort since 2001. We enjoy Cancun and especially the Riviera Maya. The Good: IF YOU LIKE ALL-INCLUSIVE, this is an OK choice. To us, it invites abusing alcohol and over-eating. To families, I can see not wanting a surprise bill at the end. Beautiful grounds,... We arrived to a beautiful place but then upon check in we were told all inclusive was not 65/day as we were quoted but 85/day. Also told $121/6 people reservation fee that we mailed in couldn't be aplied to all inclusive like we were told ahead of time. Decided we would have to live with that. Room very nice. Maid... More

We just returned from 6 days/5night all inclusive. Food was not 5 star but truely 4 star. Service was excellent in all areas. Guys at jacuzzi bar were great. Isle that checked us in was great. German the door man was very informative and helpful. Timeshare meeting was okay, not too much pressure. Isla Mujeres was fabulous, The only bad... More

My wife and my mum and dad stayed "all inclusive" at the Omni from 11th - 25th January 2012. We booked lagoon rooms (didn't think sea view worth the extra money). We did a lot of research on the hotel before we arrived and decided on the Omni over the Riu Palace due to the beach; which looked lovely at... More

We just returned after spending 6 days at the Omni. The hotel is small and very clean. The staff are all very nice and try very hard to make your stay comfortable. The food is alright, you can always find something to eat, it may not be your favorite but there are lots of choices. The one thing we did... More

We stayed for a week on an all inclusive basis. Our room was a bit dated and became damp when it rained. The lobby was a bit cramped, but drinks flowing in the bar at all hours. The pool area was large, plenty of loungers and several bars. The beach area is large, plenty of umbrellas and loungers, and bar... More

For the excellent level of friendly service, we will continue coming back to this beautiful spot. Good variety of food & dining, different places to sit & relax to snooze, read or people watch - balcony, beach, pool, spacious rooms are super comfortable with nice amenities. More

You will like it. Pros: beach, ocean, towels, sheets, beds, rooms, layout of pool sections is nice and spread out, service, security. Cons: lobby (super stressful, bad layout, busy crowded check in desk in a tiny bunched up area, blocks the flow of people traffic at desk and coming and going out, not a welcoming lobby at all. Omni: please... More
