Spent a week in Feb.2005 in a waterfront room. The accomodations were adequate - not fancy. We were impressed with the wait staff; always freindly and helpful. The food in the restaurant was wonderful and always fresh. We would go back if they would guarantee a new mattress. More

Our original hotel had overbooked so we were transferred to Villas Tacul. It was wonderful. Stayed 7 nights at the Villas Tacul in January. Great family hotel. We reserved a two bedroom villa. The villa was great. We stayed at Villas Tacul at the end of August of 2002. My mother-in-law got a room that smelled like dead rat and had an overflowing toilet. Hours later they gave her a better room.
