SO Dirty, uncomfortable, NO hot water. Please save your money and look for another hotel. Taxco has so many beautiful hostals and hotels! DO NOT COME CLOSE THIS ONE!! More

My family has stayed at this hotel several times and we've always had a good experience. Right before we went back to Taxco this past month, I read the rest of the reviews on here and got scared -- but my dad booked our rooms at the hotel anyway, and I'm glad he did. “Don´t stay in Hotel Melendez!”

We used two rooms, with baths. Manager promised hot water in baths beginning at 7::AM. Not so. We took ice-cold showers. Found nobody to advise or correct, No restaurant. Management inattentive and ineffective.. Terrible hotel. More
