Nice cozy hotel in a perfect location if you want to enjoy Taxco. The central patio is quiet, perfect for laying down in the afternoon.
Most of the rooms are quiet, except for the ones with the windows to the plaza. Just say at the reception you want a quiet one.
The rooms are very cozy, although the matresses we...

We stayed here 26 years ago and decided to go back for our 25th wedding anniversary. We were so surprised that it was still open and pretty much the same. The hotel and rooms are spotless. Tons of hot water. Bathroom sinks have two faucets but who cares. Views off the back of the hotel are nice and when we...

Spent a weekend here in October. Great location, right in the heart of this beautiful old town, but the hotel is very quiet, clean but basic We didn’t hear anything from the disco mentioned by an earlier traveller !! Staff’s English is about the same as our Spanish but we were able to communicate and we were grateful for their...

This very pleasant “auberge” is well situated in central Taxco .The rooms are not luxurious but quaint and spotlessly ,clean .The staff is very friendly and works hard to satisfy guests.

Enjoyed a pleasant 4-night stay in the Hotel Santa Prisca. Room was basic but charming, spotless, and equipped with functional plumbing. Central courtyard provided a lovely place to lounge. Breakfasts in the restaurant were good. Hotel is centrally located but blessedly quiet. It seems very well-managed and well-maintained. Staff were all gracious and helpful.

Ideal location within 200 yards of Zocalo. Quaint hotel in a very quaint city. Hotel is old and basic, but well maintained and spotless. Staff are excellent and most speak good English. Great value for money.

This is a beautiful hotel walking distance to the main zocalo in Taxco. This hotel is beautifully decorated in Mexican culture and architecture. Extremely clean and run by a wonderful lady and her family. Very reasonably priced! What a wonderful find in this beautiful old town! Call or e-mail hotel for reservations.

Ok so again i was more than happy to stay in the hotel, as per normal all the staff are great and were helpful and friendly. As before rooms are a bit basic but hell, its cheep, clean, safe and great for the location. Some people say that is loud, well most of Taxco is at night, and weekends too....

This is our third trip to Taxco. The first night (Thursday) the disco started playing right below our room. It was so loud! Also, because there is no air you sleep with the patio door open. The street dogs from the houses outside were going crazy! (It might have had something to do with the two earthquakes). The second
night...
