We spent Thanksgiving week in Oaxaca at La Casa de mis Recuerdos. It was an absolutely delightful week.Conchita made us feel right at home. The breakfasts were tipical Oaxacan breakfasts. Beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. Nora arranged tours for us and also went on the tours with us.She is a wealth of knowledge of the history and culture of Oaxaca. One of... More

I immediately felt at home after being greeted by Conchita and.....on arrival. The Casa is beautiful, centrally located, clean and very tranquil.  As many others have said the breakfasts are sensational,   Comchita advised she had enough recipes to have something different for a fortnight!   Suggestions for restaurants, tours and activities were happily given.  Without a doubt the best suggestion... This is a delightful, family-owned B & B, where the gracious owners provide an authentic Oaxacan experience and truly go out of their way to accommodate their guests. The rooms are nicely decorated and a beautifully-presented breakfast is served daily by ladies in traditional costume. Each morning guests are greeted by a cheery table, laid with colorful, local weavings. After... More

This little bed and breakfast could not be better. It's in a great location(10-15 minute walk from Zocalo), beautiful accommodations, friendly owners and a most wonderful breakfast each morning. It's a little oasis. Loved it. More

This is my second stay at Casa de Mis Recuerdos. We lucked out and managed to get a room only 4 weeks before Dia de Los Muertos. It is a beautiful home in a great location. All of the family here is welcoming and kind and goes out of their way to be helpful. The breakfast is delicious and so... More

We loved staying in this colourful Mexican home with its rich decorations and beautiful fragrant courtyards. Conchita's table settings and breakfasts were luxurous, tasty and healthy. We stayed in the Colibri room which is on the ground floor and separate from the main house. It has its own courtyard which is also open to the busy kitchen. As we don't... More

This is really THE place to stay in the historic district of Oaxaca. The charming courtyard home has several beautiful gardens and patios. The rooms are quiet and comfortable. The breakfasts are a Oaxaca experience of their own. The family is friendly, helpful, and charming. We stayed in the Azul room for nearly two weeks during our recent stay. We... More

Nice house with nice garden and fantastic breakfast. It is a great summary of Oaxaca traditions thanks to arts, handcrafts and food that make this place so comfortble and original. More

Rather than staying in a hotel my wife and I chose to seek out a small bed and breakfast near the city centre with hotel comforts and Oaxacan vibe. We were aprehensive about this as it was the first time we had taken this approach. We found what we had hoped for and heaps more at casa de mis recuerdos.... More
