Second visit to Oaxaca and Casa de Las Bugambilias - obviously a winner! The staff, guests and atmosphere are so positive - always smiling during my visits! Love the temazcal - fabulous experience and the massage is amazing. La Olla is great and the surrounding restaurants amazing Casa Oaxaca, Los Danzantes to name a few. Sitting in the Zocala is... Good location. I spent 6 nights at Las Bugambilias and was never shown that there was a library and TV upstairs or access to a roof via the adjoining restaurant, There are no phones in the rooms. Unfortunately my room was near the kitchen and I heard the senoritas preparing for breakfast each day at 7 a.m.. wifi isn't very... More

We spent three nights in Las Bugambilias and loved it. The rooms are beautiful and very comfortable, and the rest of the house is decorated with wonderful local artworks. Breakfast is a real treat and we loved sitting at the big table each morning. There's also a rooftop terrace attached to the restaurant which is a lovely place to watch... More

Wonderful family and staff, beautiful rooms, great food, centrally located. The breakfasts are fantastic as is the helpful staff. I've stayed there the last four years and have booked for next year. More

Visually beautiful setting strategically located in the heart of the city. Everything one needs is in short walking distance. The Bugambilias staff are customer service oriented and are among the most skilled I have experienced in my thirty years of travel. I have stayed there four times in the past five years and have already made reservations for next year. More

Lovely place, lovely people. Room was attractive, not luxurious, a little cramped. Great restaurant on site. We also stayed at El Secreto down the street, which we liked even better. (More private, more attractive). More

Our party of six stayed ten days in three rooms - Girasoles, Bugambilias, Orquideas. We were very content, very well treated, the location near Santa Domingo is wonderful, the rooms lovely and very clean, and we liked all the staff we met here: Sarah is completely great, knowledgeable, personable, patient, Adriana is extremely kind and all the staff are happy...
