I enjoy the Melia because of the professional, well-informed and helpful staff. The hotel is clean, and the location is central to quite a few restaurants and museums. I would recommend this hotel to travelers.

This is a nice hotel in a VERY good location (at the end of Passo La Reforma and the edge of the historic district). The staff is good though they could tighten-up service (quicker response at the front desk, delivering laundry on time, remembering to service your rooms, etc.). The rooms were very nice (thought the beds are harder than... More

I stay here a few times per month since I'm airline crew. The beds are uncomfortable, the pillows flat and tiny, the carpets dingy, the wifi hardly ever works, my #1 complaint is the a/c--don't expect it to work, I've stayed on different floors on multiple occasions and I always seem to need to call a mechanic to come look... First things, first. This hotel has the hardest mattresses EVER. Really, I made the mistake of kinda flopping down on the bed in a seated position, and I thought I had bruised my tail bone! We went in search of the ice machine, there's little signs with ice machines on them, but they lead to back stairwells. If you ask... More

Beautiful Hotel. Great staff. Special mention to Israel Perez at the Reception and Dolores the telephone operator. They both always acknowledge the fact that I'm a recurrent guest, and treat me like a VIP even thou I'm a group rate guest (airline crew). My only suggestion is to get a better wifi. The current one is not very dependable.

Beautiful place, great central location, but found that free wifi was not very dependable and kept dropping and then not connecting frequently. Also, make sure to ask for a password that is good for several devices as they are not always coded that way.
