4 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 June 2013 NEW

My friend and I stayed here for 3 nights, and added a fourth so we could spend one more day in MX city. The hotel is just fine. Clean, modern, comfortable beds, potable water spigot in the bathroom, ice in a refrigerated unit in the hall. It's a bit noisy. The window looks out into an air shaft, so there's... More

Don’t stay here. This place is one of the worst hotels above 2 stars that I have stayed at in Mexico, and I have stayed at a lot. My saga at this 4 star hotel: 1. Awful check in. The guy at reception couldn’t have been more rude and dismissive. I had already booked in with a major booking service... More

This wasn't a very interesting hotel, but you can't beat the value. It's two blocks from the Alemeda, between the Zocalo and Reforma, two blocks from the Juarez metro station. There's lots of marble and nice wooden fixtures, and the place was very clean. The room was fine - comfortable bed, drinking water from a special faucet, a hair dryer... More

Hotel Metropol has a good level of comfort for the price. You get a large room, a good shower and reasonable amenities, but no air conditioning. There is a convenient restaurant downstairs, service is efficient and food OK for the price. We found coffee is as bad as anywhere else, unlike one other contributor. Main argument in favor of this... More

This hotel completely surprised me. For the modest price the beds were vey comfortable and I slept the best sleep in days. Staff helpful and would recommend. Didn't eat here but the menu looked reasonable for breakfast

I went to the Mexico City with my boyfriend for the New Year's Eve (which was btw. a lot of fun) and booked this hotel. I was very satisfied with the location and maintanance of the hotel. The room was spacious and clean, the bed very comfortable. Close to everything that we wanted to visit in the Mexico City.

I normally don't write reviews, but seemed it's necessary to share this info with travelers. I read the reviews below and decided to give it a shot as I've been trying out different hotels in the area. And it was a total failure. First, there was a blackout in the area and I had no electricity, no internet, whatsoever. But,... More
