This is very nearly the best value hotel we've ever stayed at, and in the words of the country song, "We've been everywhere". The rooms are very well done, the bathrooms are to a 4-star standard. If there is one small complaint we have it is that there is a small air circulation problem, but that is certainly not a... More

It's a great place if you want to save some money. It's in the historical down town of Mexico city, only few blocks away from Alameda square and historical buildings. I paid $1,300 pesos for 3 nights. The room has a big bed, the bath is not small, a small closed and most important, all clean. TV cable and internet... More

This is a clean, inexpensive hotel centrally located in Mexico City. You are about 10 minutes walk to the Salto del Agua metro station and if you walk north two blocks on Luis Moya, line 4 (ruta sur) of the Metrobus runs along Ayuntamiento. You are very close to the artisan's market of Ciudadela (which I recommend) There is an... More

The hotel is inexpensive so don't expect too much. The room I had was large and clean. Bed sheet had a small hole in it. TV didn't work. Bath amenities were slim, soap. shampoo, and 1 large towel. Most annoying think was the lighting. Lights were on a motion sensor, a light sensor and the switch. During the day with... More

stayed here because it had king sized beds and was close to the center (although it is a bit of a hike to the Zocalo). hotel was of decent quality, cleanliness of the common areas might be a little below par but otherwise pretty good. like many buildings in mex city it had a bit of a lean, noticeable and... We were recommended by a friend who used to use this hotel regularly. We wouldn't recommend it anymore! The bedding had holes in it and the room was a bit dirty. Although it was cheap it shopuld have been clean! The restuarnt was very basic.

This hotel is a very good value. The water is hot, the staff pleasant, some speak good English, the rooms are clean, the adjoining restaurant is good and reasonable. The neighborhood is interesting, with a few good restaurants and a fun bar with great music a few doors down. At night it can be a bit dark and dodgy on... More

We needed a room for seven nights and had no reservation. Other reviewers directed me to this hotel and I was not disappointed. The obliging desk clerk found us a room which was spotless, if basic. No cable TV, no heating, no bathtub but for the price (500 pesos a night), impossible to complain. This hotel has an attached restaurant,... More

We lucked out by finding a room at the Hotel San Diego after our Saturday night hostel reservation had been cancelled. Miraculously, this hotel was cheaper than our room in the hostel, but had everything I could have asked for in a hotel. A giant bed, which was more comfortable than most I experienced in Mexico. Flat screen TV, radio,... More
