We visited in May 2009 while they were still renovating. So, no bar or food service; only rooms. There are a few hundred steps to the hotel door from where any taxi will drop you, and it's possible to get lost on pathways up to the hotel, so best to have the hotel staff meet you at the road to... We stayed for three days and simply didn't want to leave. The renovations are spectacular while ensuring that the unique character remains. The innkeeper and staff extremely helpful (not to mention how wonderfully talented a musician Adriana is) , and the breakfasts devine.
