Thanks to TripAdvisor we booked this hotel for a return trip to Guadalajara after having stayed at the Fiesta Americana a week earlier. We were not disappointed and thought that the hotel was lovely and represented a super value. The room was spotless, everything worked and was new inside including a fine hardwood floor and the shower had plenty of... more
The old Bullfighters hotel doesn't disappoint in the charming city of Guadalajara. We spennt 4 nights here over the Christmas holiday season. Our room faced the main street and had a small balcony from which we could see the old historic churches, people bustling around and the magnificent Cathedral. Twin beds hard as rocks, but that is a Mexican tradition.... more
This hotel is the find of the year (OK I know it's only January). It is walking distance from all the sights you want to see in Guadalajara, and it is a real gem. The internal courtyard and pillars are spectacular and the idea of painting the walls bright orange was an act of pure insane genius. The result is... more
This was the second time I have stayed at Hotel Morales. To me it is luxury at a reasonable rate. I love the feel of the hotel. We had an interior room with a window to the courtyard which was fine because it cut down on the street noise. In the morning they had a pianist playing classical music and... more
Very clean, elegant Mexican hotel with large well-appointed rooms -- a solid choice if you want to stay near the historic central area. The staff speaks English, and they were friendly and approachable throughout the trip. They helped us book car transportation between the GDL airport to the hotel (about $25 US) and bus tickets on a good line from... more
We really enjoyed Hotel Morales. The location was fantastic and the hotel was truly charming. The first room they showed us was small, smelly and didn't have an outside window! I was shocked that there were rooms with no windows! We asked for a different room and got a much better room with a little door to the outside and... more
I stayed at the Molino on an overnight trip to Guadalajara and was pleasantly surprised. For the price of a much more modest hotel, I had a very pleasant experience, with a modern room with nice appointments. The lobby reminds you of a classic hotel as you enter, with a covered central area. There is also a second covered area... more
Ask for an extra pillow at night, it only took five minutes to have it delivered to my room. The lobby bar is eccellent. Meals are good but breakfast are great. Valet parking service is eccellent. more
