We stayed at this hotel for our honeymoon. When we arrived we felt no doubt welcomed and appreciated. The hotel is more of an upscale hotel and although we dont have children they do accomadate for children as well, we noticed. The staff is amazing. I've been going to p.v. for 6 yrs....usually twice a yr. Stayed many of hotels. But since staying at Velas, we have found heaven!! What makes Velas is the atmosphere the staff create. The service is 5 star!! We enjoyed Jacinto jokes and extra efforts to make our entire family's vacations above the stars! Thank you Jacinto!!! more

Arrived in Puerto Vallarta at noon along with a few other planes. Immigration & customs took one hour. The immigration took the longest it was not well organized. This place was much more than I expected. When we checked in, they upgraded our room without asking (could have been a lure to the timeshare presentation..).
