We found the room very sparse - 2 forks, 2 knives, 2 plates, etc. The reviews on the internet are mostly from family and therefore not accurate. We witnessed the owner treating employees very badly - bad temper. We were told it was Mr. Brown - ugly episode. We will never return and will not recommend it. More

We have now been to Manzanillo, Mexico four times in five years and have stayed at the Dolphin Cove Inn when we visit Manzanillo. This resort during the week is very quiet with mostly Canadian snowbirds staying there. Come Friday afternoons until mid Monday afternoon, the resort fills up with people from the surrounding area. Like others said, lots of stairs and walking. That said, very nice grounds, not busy, great service, restaurant was inexpensive but good. My complaint? Internet service sucked! More

Our stay was great. Very quiet, peaceful, amazing view from our balcony. You can see the sunrise each morning since it faces south/S.E. Dolphin Cove was not what we expected from the reviews. The rooms were run down although clean. The room was not ready when we arrived well over the check in time. We were told to wait a half hour with no apologies from the staff. Loud music penetrates the room until 1:30 am each morning from a neighboring hotels nightclub... More
