my wife and I have been to Ixtapa 10 - 12 times and 10 times we have stayed at the Dorado. There are so many nice local restaurants nearby with excellent food. The hotel is centrally located for shopping. We are trully disappointed that it has gone all inclusive. We are looking else where. More

We love hotel and staff. This was our 14 year. Did not like all inclusive! We will come back to Ixtapa but unless we get a choice of not all inclusive we will not go back to the Dorado. About 20 couples that we know will go someplace else. More
