My family, and I have stayed at some of the best hotels that Mexico has to offer all over the country, but this hotel has it's own speacial place in our hearts. yes there are very few english speaking people, and not the most luxurious place that i have ever seen either, but i have never felt more comfortable. If you... More

We stayed at the Marparaiso Queen the last week of January for our annual vacation to Mexico. We usually vacation in Cabo (at Casa Dorado for you Interval folks) and love it, but we switched it up for Acapulco this year because the couple we were traveling with had a wedding to attend there. Let me start by saying this...a... More

We just returned from our two-week vacation at the Marparaiso Queen. We had traded two of our timeshare weeks through Interval International. This was the first time that we had exchanged for Mexico. Joining ourselves were my wife's sister and her husband. We are all in our 50's and 60's. After reading some of the previous reviews, we were a... More

I booked this thru interval. DO NOT STAY HERE. I've had great experience in the past with interval but this is my first time trying them outside of the US. I've been told to give Mexico another try but 1st let me say Acapulco is a bad experience all together. I can rough it with the best of them but... More

Well, lets start off with quoting another reviewer "Shame on you INTERVAL"!!! I'm going to try to be as nice as I can here, let start off with the location it near the airport and not close to another thing ... unless you count the chickens & wild dogs that run around, then you are greeted by security with machine... I traded in my time share with Interval to used in Acapulco. What a terrible mistake!! This hotel was very outdate and way out of the tourist area. The beds were very unconfortable, I woke up every morning wiht back pains. We could not get enough water out of the shower head for a nice shower. I have to say... More

We read several reviews on this resort before the trip and thought "what have we gotten ourselves into"? Where to start? First of all if you're looking for pure luxury, stay home. The rooms are quaint and clean and they were right the furniture is on concrete pedestals and there is alot of sand on things. That's what they get... More

We stayed at Marparaiso for 3 nights with 2 small children. Our room had 4 double beds, 2 bathrooms and AC in both bedrooms. Also a huge fridge and freezer with a large dining table and 6 chairs. The furniture was oversized and had cement bases so nothing could be moved, not even the table. The furniture also looked like... More

I'm finally getting around to writing a review on my vacation - which I wish had been available when we booked it. If the beach is most important to you, this isn't a bad place to stay. The beach in Acapulco bay is aweful - course sand, lots of trash, and way too many vendors. The beach at MarParaiso is... More
