Villa Roxana in Pie de la Cuesta is a good basic near-the-beach hotel in Pie de la Cuesta. The owner, Roxana Nicolas, really goes out of her way to make guests happy and manages the operations there really professionally. Rooms are simple with fans and showers only. I spent 2 nights at Villa Roxana which is in Pie de la Cuesta (20 min north of Acapulco). The hotel has about 15 rooms, a pool with deckchairs as well as open areas with hammocks.
