Just got back from a 1 week stay in Acapulco and really enjoyed ourselves. First time there, would do it again. Hotel is lovely design with hosts that try there best to make your stay special. Meals were standard fare with okay variety, veggies cooked just right. One main restaurant but they set up meals in the front foyer to... More

I returned to Acapulco in early Jan., decided to try the CP, was a great decision! The hotel is located in the perfect location when it comes to "finding things to to" with the city. Our group spent every other day participating in activities away from the hotel. We enjoyed riding the buses and taking the VW taxis. I would... More

This hotel used to be a star hotel in the bay... In 1980... The building is still quite nice and the facilities are good. Value for money is not a question. You do get more than what you pay for. Mainly because of that you can expect this hotel to be overcrowded (not with the best crowd), full of kids... More

A fun, low-key hotel in the heart of the main strip. The staff and general vibe at the hotel was very good. We enjoyed the drinks and lunch by the poolside. Rooms were bright and airy - make sure to ask for a view of the beach, it was amazing. As an aside, you want to be diligent and find... More

I've stayed at the Crowne a couple times and the rooms are showing wear, and the beds are hard. But the lobby, security, and outside areas are still very good. On Saturday nights the bar out front has good music and dancing. Beautiful breeze and wonderful atmosphere. However last year, someone in management decided to make extra money on Saturdays... More

My husband and I stayed here for two nights to be able to walk to stores and restaurants nearby. Great value, we were upgraded to a corner ocean view suite (1528)on the 15th floor. The view of the ocean and bay was spectacular. Room had lots of square footage with at least 50 lineal feet of balcony wrapped around the... More

10 years ago, Crowne Plaza Acapulco was a great hotel, with good location and nice rooms. Now, the years have gone by and the rooms look old. Even the TV seems like it's from 1990. I'm sure you can get a better deal at the same proce. More

The hotel was a good place for the money. Was always clean. Towels for the beach always available. What I like the most was the easy use of the safety box. Wi-Fi access for free a plus plus. A/C work great specially when coming from outside ....the A/C was very powerful which is a must in a hot place like... More
