The Belmar is not a fancy hotel ther are no t.v. in your room but the rooms are very clean. everyone who works there are very nice and will go out of their way to make you feel welcome. It is a little walk up the side of the mountian,but the view that you get at night of acapulco bay is the best. Not in the heart of acapulco but out of the way and quiet at night ( it is in what they call old acapulco). They have 2 swimming pools and a bigger belcony then you can get any where else.
Just down the hill you are at caleta beach,bus stops,a couple of restraunts,and stores. A small market to do some shopping is just a short walk away
