This is a very large business oriented hotel close to the better area of Monterrey. The first room they offered me was very noisy as it overlooked the highway. The second room was much quieter and was an extremely spacious junior suite. Decor needs a bit of an update but it was very comfortable. The bed was particularly comfortable and... More

Was sent here on business twice in 2011. Was a very nice, formal hotel (almost felt as I needed to 'behave' myself more, as it was quite upscale). Rooms were wonderful, comfortable. Nice pool/hot tub area upstairs. Good restaurants (went to each of them!). The security situation in Monterrey is such that, without some kind of escort, it's not recommended... More

I spent three nights in this hotel two weeks ago and had a very pleasant stay. The staff were friendly and the service was excellent (from the front desk, the valet attendants, in the bar area and the restaurant, all the way to the housekeeping staff). Contrary to the previous post - I stayed on the fifth floor during a... More

I spent friday night at this hotel and I really loved it. The only problem is that they have weddings on weekends and the music gets really loud. I was on the 7th floor. I can only imagine what it was like for people in the first and second. Music stopped at 2.30. Just have that in mind if your... More

I have stayed at this property on multiple occasions for business. The San Pedro location is convenient to malls and restaurants and 10-15 minutes drive from downtown Monterrey. The lobby, pool and rooms are clean but feel dated (a 70's ambiance). With that said, the hallways and some of the rooms offer inspiring views of the San Pedro skyline and... More

I spent only one night at this hotel, but the service was excellent, my room was very spacious with a nice view, and the reaturant was great. The breakfast buffet was exceptional. Overall an excellent value. More

I stayed at the Intercontinental on a business trip. While the location is OK and the staff is fairly attentive, I think you can do better in Monterrey for the cost. My room was very dark (small window didn't let enough light through the room) and the walls were drab. It looks as though this hotel hasn't been renovated since... More

I stayed at the InterContinental Presidente Monterrey in May 2011. The hotel is about 20 years old and has been renovated. Very courteous staff. My room was spacious and well furnished. Very Quiet. Internet was of marginal quality. Hotel restaurants were very good and fairly priced. More

I am currently into week two of my stay at this hotel. The room are large and clean, although mine has a lingering smell of cigarette smoke that is annoying. The amenities are generally of a good standard, gym, sauna and pool. Pool is not however good for real swimming. The public areas are acceptable, but would benefit from some... More

I must say that my expectations for an Intercontinental were higher than what i found in Monterrey. Right arriving there was a mess with my reservation even when i presented my gold priority club membership. It took some 30 minutes to fix. Entering the room i found it nice and clean, however the security box was out of service and... More
