Debora and Gerardo were fantastic hosts for our group. We were on our way to San Ignacio Lagoon to see Gray Whales and their calves. What a feast we had on our first night! The clams were so delicious as were the two ceviches. I started planning with Debora a year in advance and she was incredibly helpful and always... More

Charming, convenient, convivial, and clean. The perfect location for exploring Loreto. Comfortable, inviting rooms and public indoor-outdoor areas. Gorgeous garden with an outdoor communal kitchen...ideal for us (vegetarians), with lots of birds and a view of the mission dome. A short walk to cafes, the water, & shopping. Loved it! More

We loved our stay at La Damiana because the communal outdoor kitchen and lovely courtyard really facilitated meeting other travelers and getting recommendations from Deborah on what to do in the area. The hotel is also in a great location near the Malecon and the plaza. More

Very clean-nice central courtyard, laid back atmosphere. The owner was fun and informative and helped us find snorkeling and fishing at the dive shop next door. More

I was convalescing at La Damiana Inn. It was perfectly centrally located, near shops, restaurants, taxis, and beach. Deborah and Geraldo, and staff were very hospitable and accomodating. Lovely folks with joie'd'vivre! Thank you for everything. More

We were heading out of town after our stay at the Villa del Palmar when our car's engine fail-safe mode engaged. Eventually we ended up at Gerardo's auto repair shop to get our car fixed. After about an hour, he offered for us to 'hang-out' at his hotel to wait while they worked on our car. When we got to... More

I thoroughly reveled in the tastefulness, the friendliness, modest rates, and charm of La Damiana Inn. Deborah Simmons is the perfect innkeeper, friendly, helpful, wonderful to chat with. Her attitude toward the Inn is clear: it should be a congenial, accommodating place to visit. The tastefulness and care goes well with the perfect location near the Sea and the good... More

My experience at La Damiana was excellent in all ways. It was very clean, comfortable and beautiful, and the owners, Debora and Gerardo, were warm and friendly people. They were very knowledgeable about the area, with great recommendations for walks, restaurants, etc. The backyard garden was gorgeous and great to relax in, and the house was filled with unique and... Staying at this small hotel has a bit of the feel of being a guest in the home of a good friend. The proprietors Girardo and Debora live in the hotel and are very helpful and friendly. They even invited our family to a dinner party with their friends one evening. The rooms are large and charmingly individually decorated. The... More
