A very comfortable and welcoming small hotel. Our room looked out onto the front garden and was light and airy. The bathroom was vast and our lovely Spring Sunday morning was atmospheric with the church bells ringing next door. The restaurant was popular and food a very high standard.

I came here for a business meeting this week and I was very impressed indeed. I see a lot of poor service and overpriced, mediocre food in business venues so it was great to get first class service in lovely, clean and tasteful surroundings. The location is beautiful too.

Arriving late after a long stormy drive over the peaks, it was extremely comforting to arrive at Washingborough Hall. I was greeted with warmth and immediately felt at home. Beautiful building, which is clearly loved. The bedroom and bathroom was dated, but huge tv and clean, and had a lovely view. What makes this so lovely is the staff, who couldn't be more helpful or friendly. Had a yummy meal from the bar menu and it was lush. Well worth the stay!
