Staff were so nice to be around, very helpful and always happy. Rooms were neat and tidy, the food was great too, such large helpings, didn't know where to put it all really. Will definetely be staying here again if we are up in this direction. Thanks guys, had a lovely stay :) alastair More

my wife and I stayed here three nights in September in an executive room which I can recommend. The hotel has good food, very helpful and friendlystaff, a good bar and wine list and comfortable public areas. More

First impressions with our room was that it was a little tired, Rest of hotel spacious and well presented. There was a wedding on our first night and we were advised of this. Stayed in the hotel for a family wedding. Excellent sized family room - very clean. Good big ensuite. Good food. Very welcoming, friendly staff - made our children feel very much at home. More

Tired & dated hotel in need of an upgrade. Our room was shabby, the furniture falling apart, the door falling off its hindges & the ensuite shower room had mould on the walls & shower. Loved everything about this hotel. Staff extremely helpful and friendly. Dot especially. Nothing was too much trouble. The meal we had was beautiful. I would highly recommend the lemon sole. I have recently stayed in this hotel, whilest attending a conference here. Staff were extremely friendly and inviting and the food was of a good standard. I would love to stay here again when visiting. Definitely recommend More

Strange layout, with nowhere to go but the bar. The promised restaurant doesn't really exist. BIG loud TV in the bar, and nowhere to escape to.
