I stayed on a business trip in the center of Rome for 1 night in the Residenza. As prices even for simple hotels in this area have skyrocked in the last years, it needs to be underlined that the Residenza provides by far the best value for money just around the corner of Piazza Farnese. The rooms are spacious, extremely... More

We have stayed in Residenza Farnese for 4 nigths in July, the location is perfect, the hotel is within walking distance from major sigths (Vatican, Colloseum, Piazza Navona, Trevi etc), good neighborhood restaurants, nice staff, the room was quiet and very clean, with A\C. More

The hotel is ideally located next to Palazzo Farnese, close to all the central Rome Piazzas and close to Trastevere (ideal for night dinner/bars/etc). We stayed in Romm 404 which was ok, looking at the back, quite, nice. We enjoyed the breakfast. There was a little misunderstanding at the check out, about the Rome Comune Tax (3euros/per person/per night). The... More

Great location! Francesca, the wonderful front desk lady. I read some comments from fellow americans and get very sad. This is an old city!!! Rooms are not large, that is typical in Italy! This hotel was clean!!! They were very accomodating and what we didnt have they found for us! They opened the roof top, even though it was not... More

Absolutely loved the location of this hotel. We were able to walk to everything and did not have to use a taxi or bus the entire time. Loved how close it was to the Campo di Fiori and Piazza Novona, both great spots to walk to for dinner. The rooms were a good size with a decent sized bathroom as... More

Charming hotel in Rome with recently renovated rooms, good modern bathrooms, stall showers, a lovely breakfast room where your cappucino comes with a smiling chocolatey sun-face sprinkled in the milky foam. Paolo at the front desk was very helpful suggesting good neighborhood restaurants and assisting us with train information. Loved the area--walked to the Colosseum--yet quiet at night. Would stay... Located 15/20 minutes from the Roman Forum and the Vatican, couldn't be better in the historic centre of Rome with top walks in all directions and near the Tiber and Camp di Fiori. The hotel is quiet, exuding traditional historic charm, with attentive friendly staff. However, it is expensive if you don't get the special offers. More

We stayed for three nights in August in 2010. Check in was efficient and the furnishings were antique style. I booked a superior double for 94 Euros a night. I requested a quiet room based on some of the reviews I've read. I don't know if the room we had was considered a quiet room, but it was not quiet... More

First of all, the location of this hotel is fabulous. All the major sights are within walking distance, and we got an excellent online rate. We stayed in a superior room, which was spacious and clean, although a bit dark. We thought this hotel was more of a good 3 star, than what you'd expect from an international 4 star.... More
