had a few very happy nights here, view of hotel on arrival not wonderful but don't let that put you off. Shower in the room didn't work - but the bath was nice. Walls very thin but neighbours were quiet and went to sleep at same time! Food has a good name locally and was good. Would happily return. More

Maybe we were unlucky, reading the other reviews. We went here for a meal. I chose the most expensive thing since I was on holiday (venison; £25) . For that price it needs to be exceptional. We stayed there for 2 nights and while the food is very good and the staff very helpful the bedrooms are in need of refurbishing. Some local B&B's are better value. More
