They cancelled my booking done via booking.com only two (!) days before my arrival. It caused a big trouble to me, I consider it to be very unprofessional. So I can't rate any other qualities as I have to find another accommodation very quickly. Never more.

We enjoyed a couple of nights at the newly renovated Loch Maree Hotel, just re-opened after complete refurbishment. Friendly welcome from the local family who are the new proprietors. The hotel was being renovated during our Easter stay and we stayed at the adjacent self catering log wood cabin just by the hotel on Loch Maree. This is a great hotel, old-fashioned but in the best sense of it with comfortable rooms and great views over the Loch. Nick was an enthusiastic and friendly host. The food was excellent. Highly recommended if you explore the area !

What a find, a good value hotel with fabulous views. The boat trip to Isle Maree was a treat not to be missed. Great food and an enthusiastic host, we will be back.
