I read about the Bahamian Village from their website but saw few reviews. When we got there and opened the door to our own perfect cabin, my husband kissed me for finding such a great place. The village so far consists of two cottages and a palapa beach bar that serves anything you want from Thurs-Sun, mostly catering to the yachting folks who anchor in the harbour. Conversation and light music disappeared by 9pm on the nights the Parrots of the Caribbean was open and we had the place to ourselves for the rest of our stay. The staff were welcoming and respected privacy. The beach is not an extensive sandy arc, but swimming was easily accessible within a few feet and kayaks available for exploring. We made use of the mountain bikes to investigate Indian Hole Point and enjoyed the experience. We really like this place and can't wait to return at some point. Long Island people are wonderful.
