We really enjoyed the experience. The decor is beautiful, and wood abounds! The only drawback is breakfast, which is fry, fry or fry! Also the only fruit choice was tinned grapefruit! More

Stopped at this Inn a few years ago whilst on a day out....was so busy we couldn't get a meal! I chose this place as it is near my ancestor's village of Barr. The service here is really good; very friendly and they do aim to please. The owner and his wife are delightful and do their best for you. This is an Inn and not a luxury hotel but it is so comfortable and friendly that one forgets. Food?... More

We popped into Stair first thing last Sunday morning for a quick bite to eat. Once again, fast service, excellent food and cracking value. We didn't book a table but that is the beauty of dropping in between 12 and 1pm, usually get seated and served in jig time. More

Stayed on several occasions, warm friendly atmosphere. Owner generally behind bar in evening, and cooking breakfast too. Very nice resteraunt appeared full whenever we stayed. Nice lively friendly bar. Warm clean comfortable bedrooms. Wonderfully location. What more can I say. More
