We stayed in a jacuzzi beach villa which was amazing. Sharks, rays, amazing fish and turtles right on your doorstep. The food was exceptional and nothing is ever too much trouble for the staff. A total dream holiday. We were 3 adults and there was plenty of room in the villa for us. We are not massive drinkers so took the full board option which vas definately value for money. The food is incredible. Its embarrassing to say as a brit but on Sunday we had the best Sunday roast we had ever had. The currys were so delicious we found ourselves excited to go for lunch. All pallets and tastes are catered for. Even the spicy curries are labeled and all other curries are not spicy hot, just full of the most amazing flavours. The island was at full capacity but it still felt like you were on a very quite island. We have been back 1 day and are already looking to book next year. This was our first trip to the maldives but will not be our last. Complete paradise and relaxation.

Hotel's Favourite
Kuredu as 8 time repeaters we didn’t think it would get any better - it is is for us the epitome of luxury and style a stay in paradise. We usually stay in the ‘O’ beach villas and use the ‘O’ restaurant which has incredible views and a beautiful pool. After 5 visits we get the benefits of being able use all facilities and so this trip we used the Sangu restaurant and pool as well and were hooked! Breakfast daily on a table set on the beach overlooking pristine turquoise sea - pancakes or eggs made to order even a honeycomb - they even had Bircher muesli ! - it’s the little things ! Oh and the little bananas grown on the island so sweet and fresh passion fruits were amongst my favourites. The restaurant is incredible - imagine a large Parmesan wheel set alight to melt the cheese into Rissotto rice while you watch ! They have a chef using a traditional clay oven to prep Nam bread and Chicken and fish tikka - using local herbs - everything beautifully presented and so delicious. An all inclusive restaurant where Maldivian Stripe Lobster was on the menu one evening ! blown away. So when I talked about style - it is things like this -the views - pool side service - whilst swimming in the infinity pool. Lounge on the most sublimely comfortable beds and being brought cool cloths and shots or cocktails on a tray ! Since we last visited the Island 6 years ago cocktails have been added to the all inclusive i think that’s pretty rare - I was also able to drink premium spirits - checking out a range of great gins. The house red was a gorgeous merlot which we had ever night. Another change is the gym it has been moved into an amazing building -purposes built with a location overlooking the sea - we didn’t make it for a work out but I did spent an hour in the new beautifully designed yoga hut which is also a gorgeous new addition and has complimentary classes. Although we don’t have young kids we saw there is now a children’s play area beautifully designed and flowing as do all the buildings. In the restaurant nearby there is a station area for the children again so beautifully designed with a mural and at their height to serve themselves - everything just works it was so cute. We ate in the Beach restaurant the last night - we have before but it’s even better - the food was Michelin star quality - the chef came to greet us after we had eaten which is a nice touch. We had an amazing experience dining under the stars hearing the water lapping and our feet in the warm sand. We dived with Pro Divers having a tune up with Remi as it had been a while - he was lovely and very patient helping me regain my confidence - as always the most professional and safety conscious team -super friendly and welcoming - we did all our diving certifications here - as did our daughter when she was about 13 - we first came to Kuredu 2005 - in terms of equipment they even have their own decompression chamber on the island. Were taken by the kind and helpful boat staff to sites were we dived into the blue - seeing ledges of turtles in the caves and in the blue 2 feet away saw 3 grey tip reef sharks swimming past. Hot tea and banana cake always a treat on the way back - but on one occasion an even bigger treat around 30 dolphins a few feet away in the water the boat staff intuitively know how to communicate to get them to come to the boat . And if it couldn’t get any better there is also the spa - We spent several hours at the diniye over the water spa sublime scrubs and massages -floating back to our beach villa to watch the sun go down. Every time we go we wonder whether it will have changed and we won’t want to return but for us it’s just getting better, the prices have increased but so has the style and luxury - and we don’t have the kids to pay for now ! having got back on Monday we can’t wait to return. There are repeater guests who have been here 35-50 times that doesn’t surprise us and you might think why would you do that - probably because nowhere else compares - it’s a beautiful island - and it’s supported by wonderful people so why would you go anywhere else.

It was amazing! I’ve been never at a more beautiful place than this! The reef is incredible. The workers are so sweet and nothing is too much. The pictures don’t lie. It’s a paradise!! We had a garden bungalow and that was also really nice! The food was amazing! They do lovely excursions and you can also play some golf. I will never forget this experience and if it’s possible I definitely will come back! We also did a dolphin and snorkeling cruise and also that was amazing!! Thanx Kuredu!

It was the first time we have been to the Maldives, we flew with Emirates and the flights and service were exceptional. The seaplane transfer was very organised. We were looked after when we arrived at Kuredu by Akshita who helped us with any issues we experienced and events happening during our stay which was really helpful.we stayed in a water villa in the Sangu area, the sea can be a bit rough some days on that side of the resort but we enjoyed watching fish and sharks swimming past. The food served in Sangu was amazing and the staff very friendly in the restaurant and bar, Nirmal was our waiter and he looked after us also Sheraya. The Wi-Fi in the room is not always available but the receptions have good Wi-Fi. The beaches are amazing you can snorkel with turtles not far from the shore. The manta search was amazing. We also saw lots of dolphins on a snorkelling trip swim with our boat. The entertainment was great we will return to this island.

Just got back from an amazing week at Kuredu. For a number of weeks before this trip I was in regular contact with their customer services/reception team (Jeeson) over email to cover a range of things from ensuring we had necessary baby facilities, seaplane transfer information, details of what’s included in our package and much much more - I didn’t have to wait longer than 24hrs before they replied back each time with all the relevant information. The seaplane transfer was incredible and so picturesque - flying over the stunning ocean and seeing so many islands on the way to Kuredu. Upon arriving on the island we were greeted by the welcome team at the end of the jetty and then looked after by our dedicated island host Rina who was brilliant explaining everything, giving us daily updates on island activities and being available to contact all day with questions. This is really brilliant especially for first-time visitors to Kuredu as it’s a large island with lots to do. The resort itself was incredible from the long white sandy beaches, authentic beach island accommodation, spacious swimming pools, the different restaurants/bars and not to mention amazing staff who really made this holiday special. The beach was beautiful and we stepped out of our villa decking onto the sandy beach and sea within yards with our own sun loungers located outside the villa. The bars offer a large selection of cocktails and most of the bars have different cocktails on the menu so you constantly have a wide selection across all the bars. We spent most of our time at the pool bar which was ideal for the little one and this cocktail list was our favourite. We also did the massage and beach barbecue as additional extras and absolutely loved both. The massage can be ocean or garden view and ours overlooked the ocean with the most magnificent views, the experience from the welcome to the actual massage was top quality. Massage treatment was excellent and felt so relaxing (coming from someone who is quite fussy with massages). The beach barbecue buffet was quite literally one of the best we ever had - I was then constantly recommending this to other guests throughout our stay. Big shout out to Hari who looked after us very well not only on the BBQ but everyday throughout our stay. He always greeted us with a big smile and lovely conversation, going over and above to look after us at every meal We ate at Koamas most days which was the buffet meal and each evening dinner had a different theme. The breakfast and lunch options were always incredible - everything we ate had been cooked to high quality. With a toddler meal times were difficult but we were thoroughly looked after by Jena and Paru during every meal so a big thank you to them both too. This kids club also deserves a mention - it is a very good kids club with a fantastic team of ladies (too many to name individually but all were so good with our kid) and they look after the kids with lots of care and attention. There is an outdoor play area and two big rooms (one with toys and mats + one with a large movie screen and arts/crafts). It is conveniently located right next to the main restaurants. A few other things to talk about which also contributes towards an amazing holiday: -buggy’s available throughout the day/night with friendly smiling drivers to transport you from A to B -complimentary photoshoot with Adam (a very good photographer) for one photo plus an option to upgrade to a package across multiple locations -the whole team of staff are so friendly and helpful which makes the holiday that much more better from start to finish -other guests were all very friendly and is indicative of the resort attracting nice people to be interacting with everyday Only small negatives to mention are not enough sun loungers around main pool and limited daily usage on internet We will be going back to Kuredu for sure

This is a resort comprising 39 Beach Villas and 28 Jacuzzi Beach Villas on the island called Kuredu which is a part of the Lhaviyani Atoll The island of Kuredu is a noisy 40 minute seaplane ride from Male International Airport. The seaplane leg of our journey was exhilarating . Taking off and landing on water. The plane carried twelve passengers with luggage and three crew. The front seat is right behind to the pilot The O Resort Villas are set back a safe distance from the sea but with beautiful seascape views The beach is well manicured. They even sweep up the leaves .Along the edge of the sea there is a lot of dead coral which is uncomfortable to walk on. Best wear a pair of beach/ sea shoes All of the O Beach Resort villas are the same. . Basically it's a one bedroom beach hut but with a few refinements like air conditioning , a mini bar and television The bathroom is quite novel in that it is in the open air with a wooden screen around to preserve your modesty . The plug for both wash hand basins did not work. It does not help to save the planet if water is wasted as is the case here. There were some toiletries There is a washing line and pegs The villas is spotlessly clean . A very comfortable bed . The bedding is changed every three days The television was a waste of time, the picture quality was extremely poor. This is not surprising given that we are in the middle of the Indian Ocean. I know you don't come here to watch TV but some sort of satellite upgrade is sadly missing. There was what is called a Sound Bar in our room but there were no instructions as to what it does or how to work what it does. A bit useless. There is a clock radio alarm but I failed to pick up and radio programs . A sophisticated toy which does not work to its full potential in the beautiful Maldives. There was a magnified mirror light but all the batteries were flat making it a bit useless. There is a telephone in the room which links you to various island services. I suspect you can direct dial home with this telephone but at a cost The Internet wi fi connection worked after a fashion but was not very fast and prone to stoppages. However worse of all is that it is necessary to log in every day. You would have thought that a resort like this would let you remain logged on until you leave. This would avoid the daily palaver of having to log on my three devises every day of my two week stay. Having to log on then 42 times is a bit of an unnecessary phaff and a real bore. Breakfast, Lunch and Evening Dinner are taken in the O Villa Restaurant This is a buffet style eating place. Lots to choose from and something for everyone. Meal are well prepared and attractively displayed The is a complementary buggy taxi to take around the island if the heat saps your energy for walking. All staff without exception were very polite and helpful. I should mention that the professional service which we received from Yugesh, a waiter in the O Restaurant was exceptional. I first came here in 2020. Whilst they no doubt have been maintaining the resort, the fact remains that the resort is beginning to look a little tired. The entire place from top to toe would now benefit from a refit. At first glance everything looks good but when you look more closely, it becomes apparent that there is really a lot to do here to refurbish and refit so as to maintain standards. This is not a only a personal view but also the unsolicited view of other guests. I will not come here again until I hear that they have undertaken a major refurb.

Third visit and still perfect. We always stay at O Resort and love the restaurant, bar and pool in that area. Our waiter Wasim was excellent and so friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. We were delighted to meet up again with Karan who arrived back from visiting his home a couple of days before we left. Susmi (not sure of spelling) was a great host and has a beautiful smile. Our room attendant was Riyaz and he even cleaned our sea shoes one day when they were covered in sand! Towel art and messages on the bed were new to us this year and very clever. Chef Maruti and Nathan still providing brilliant food. The staff are so friendly and helpful and a credit to Kuredu. We went to the beach bbq and loved the welcome drink, Purple Haze or something similar. But when we asked for one at O bar we were told we could only get it from Babuna Bar which was disappointing.
