Staying nearby went with family and friends for an evening meal. Excellent food and great value for money. Friendly staff who even presented our kids with a complimentary Easter Egg after the meal (it was Easter Sunday evening) I have never been stirred to write a trip advisor review before, but this place is a gem. Highly recommended More

I recently stayed in the area and went twice to the Clachan Inn for my evening meal. The menu choice is fantastic. I had the beer battered haddock one meal and the fish was huge and very tasty. Can honestly say the portions are good and great value for money. It was nice sitting in the restaurant area near the... More

The rooms may not be designer but they're clean and the food makes up for it...The host couldn't do enough for you and as a lone traveller I felt completely at ease here. Beautiful walk down by the river and up Waterside Hill. The boot holders over the radiator made for warm dry boots in the morning....haggis at breakfast...great. Good... More

this is a charming wee pub run by a delightful young couple. Real fires, real food, very well kept real ales. The customers are pleasant and interesting, friendly and polite. There are rooms to let which are pretty basic but very comfortable - we had a king-size bed, kettle, en suite and of all things, a welly rack and a gun... More

We stayed here en route to the highlands and couldn't have been more impressed. Food and drink were of a high standard (and reasonably priced) and the staff were particularly welcoming and helpful. The standard of accommodation was very good. Will definitely visit again. More

This small hotel has a lovely welcoming atmosphere. The staff are friendly and attentive and the food is of a very high quality. My room was lovely with good quality toiletries and complimentary tray. It had all the comforts of a much bigger hotel but at a very reasonable price. I would recommend a visit and I'll ceratinly go back.... More
