A wonderful place to stay, great value-for-money. The room (and the bathroom) was nice, large and clean. We felt home immediately. The interior is fine. The restaurant is wonderful and the breakfast excellent. The service was lovely, very very friendly, and made our stay unique. Unfortunately we arrived too late for diner, so we couldn't try this. more

Stayed at Broomhall for my girlfriends mothers wedding in mid October. From check in until departure I couldn't find any fault with the hotel or the staff. The rooms were spacious and clean, the food was to die for and the general bar and lounge areas were an ideal place for relaxing with family and friends. The wedding was well... more

Stayed for just one night. The hotel is beautiful and the rooms were spacious, comfortable and clean. The bath was more than welcome after the previous hectic days we had had. We ate in the restaurant and the meal was delicious. The staff were so helpful, polite and even gave us extra on the cheese board as we were enjoying... more

It was the best place we could have found ever in Scotland. We booked a double room for 80£ on the Internet. We arrived there and finally a very kind employee (Stuart), upgraded our room to the upper class: stone wall, four posters bed, very spacious... :) Then we went to the lounge to taste some other whisky: lovely place,... more

We throughly enjoyed our stay. The food was excellent and well worth the money. The room we stayed in was huge and very nice. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, be sure to ask their advice on local places to visit. The hotel is an easy distance from Stirling and all its attractions, the Wallace Monument and Blair... more

Having read all the reviews (both good and bad) on here before we decided to book I have to say we really enjoyed our stay. The Hotel/Castle iself is situated around 400yds from a quiet residential street, has plenty... more

The castle is warm and comfortable, with comfy beds and an interesting mix of furniture. If you're expecting everything to match and hoards of fawning staff then you're probably in the wrong place. The Castle is quiet and peaceful without a constant supply of irritating corporate stuff, and the slightly worn bits (including the magnificent stags head over the front... more
