Stayed one night last night with my husband after attending a wedding. Lovely quiet location. Owners made us feel very welcome and were flexible with check in and out times which we found very useful. I would recommend this hotel. Great breakfast. Only down side was that it could do with updating and a bit more cleaning. Overall nice place... More

We booked this "guest house" at short notice via email and were a little apprehensive, as there was only a drawing of the building. No need, as it was lovely and in a beautiful, private position with off road parking and great views (especially rooms 5 & 6). Our room was in good order (8, with sea view) plenty of... More

We stayed at Llys Olwen with 6 golfing friends for 2 nights. The rooms were clean and comfortable but the highlight was the breakfast. Beutifully cooked with a range of home made preserves and the best hash browns I have ever tasted. Freshly baked bread and cakes to take with us, we were extremely well looked after.I would have no... More

my husband arranged this stay as a treat for my birthday. we were greeted at the door by Mrs. Middleton whose warmth and friendliness instantly put us at ease.the house in a lovely position 5 mins from the sea overlooked by ancient hills used to be a sea captains house and is furnished in the old Welsh tradition. our bed... We stayed only one night but would have been very happy to stay for longer. The rooms, whilst they may be a little old fashioned, are comfortable and clean. What more can one ask of a very reasonably priced B & B. Outside is a beautiful garden complete with Veg plot to provide for the kitchen. The surroundings are peaceful... More

This was our very first visit. The rooms are exceptionally clean and pretty. Ann having been professionally trained is an excellent cook and cooks mostly organic and homemade/homegrown foods. Her homemade sweet orange marmalade is to kill for. Where else would you find a friendly enough hotel/guest house to offer to store your oil paintings, till you went home? Ann... More

My wife and I booked into Llys Olwen for one night not realising what a gem we'd discovered. It's true that the accomodation isn't en suite, but we already knew that, and the shared toilets and shower rooms were conveniently close and spotlessly clean. We had a wash basin on our bedroom, which was handy when we wanted to make... More

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Llys Olwen, in the delightful village of Morfa Nefyn. It has been run by the same family for many years; I found it to be extremely clean, comfortable, and friendly; above all I felt at home from the moment that I arrived to the moment that I left. Llys Olwen is situated... More

Just come back from Llys Olwen and loved it. It's a classic B&B, super friendly welcome, immensely helpful and considerate hosts, great food, fantastic value. It's within striking distance of beautiful coastline and beaches (like Whistling Sands). More
