The good: Beautiful property; lots of pools; near the beach; very clean; aquariums were amazing, loaded with a lot of tropical fish and unusual species you don't see in your average aquarium: manta rays, hammerhead sharks, sawfish. My wife and I celebrated our 10 year wedding anniversary at Atlantis and couldn’t be happier about our choice of destination. We came in with fairly high expectations and were not disappointed. This resort has everything you need for a wonderful stay. There's plenty to do. We enjoyed the pools, water recreation, aquatic animals, casino, golf course, and much more. You don't really need to leave the resort at all. The rooms can be a little pricey, but the atmosphere is worth it. more

Atlantis for a family getaway was surprising a lot of fun. If you go in mind that the restaurants will be expensive and the decor on the kitschy side, you can wind up having a pleasant time. First off someone needs to characterize the place right. Its a Vegas style hotel, on the beach, wrapped around a water park. The service: The service is ok.
