We had a fabulous 5 day/4 night stay at Compass Point! This was my third stay and it was still truly magical. We needed some serious rest and relaxation and we found it here. Although we went off the grid for most of our stay, we were happy that they offered free Wifi so we could check our messages. The... More

I loved Compass Point, the mulit coloured huts, the view, the food, the people that work here, etc. It’s got a funky, bo-ho vibe that you will either love or hate. If you are looking for 100% generic luxury this place is not for you or if you want to be close to downtown Nassau, you might want to pick... More

Had a lovely 5 day stay at Compass Point. Here’s a quick summary of my pros & cons: Pros: Close to the airport—this place is ideal if you are in Nassau for a long weekend or need a place to have lunch/wait for a connecting flight to one of ‘Out’ islands. Thought the resort was quaint and quiet. The pier... More

Quiet, peaceful retreat with individual little cottages. Extremely comfortable, quiet and romantic. You can open the door on your cottage, sit in your rocking chair and get sprayed by the ocean, you are so close to the water. The restaurant will not disappoint, with fare covering simple. fresh seafood to rack of lamb (for which they are renowed). The only... More

We stayed at Compass Pointe for 5 days in March and loved the fabulous service, good food and cozy feeling. Definitely stay in one of the huts on the water. The huts that back-up to the road are very loud although they are very private in every way. If you just want to sit, read, eat good food and totally... More

We have been going to the Bahamas for years, but this year decided there must be somehere different to stay rather than Paradise Island or Cable Beach. So we chose a colourful little resort that we had driven past many times but never bothered to stop. It is small and intimite, a collection of multi coloured cottaged dotted along the shore.... More

This resort is very funky!! Food was terrible, most people not so friendly, huts had a cabin like feel to them. We experienced pretty cool and rainy weather, so they were very cold, damp and the wind came right into the hut. Not romantic like it is described as........beautiful view of the ocean, but that's about it and you can... More

We were in an elevated hut (#108). The hut was very nice. The shower and bathroom were well put together. The location was good (near the hot tub and not too far from the pool and dining room). The service in the restaurant and around the pool was very good. The food was quite good. We had fresh snapper one... More

We spent four nights here in early February 2013. We had high expectations as this was the number one hotel in Trip Advisor in all the Bahamas. While very cute, this is not up to the standards I would expect of such a rating. In fact we spent two nights at Tiamo on Andros which was far superior in nearly... More

I picked Compass Point Beach Resort for a quick weekend getaway for my wife and I after a business shindig in Palm Beach Gardens and some sailing in Key West earlier in the week. Don't get me wrong, we thought the place was nice enough...just not a place I would get excited about returning to...and that goes for the whole... More
