Just returned from Cinnamon bay after spending 5 nights in a tent. We were with a group and had a great time but you do have to remember it is camping. We spent very little time in our tent, usually we at breakfast at the onsite restaurant. It is a little on the pricey side but no more than anyplace... More

We visited in March, 2011. It was me, my husband and my 11 year old son. What we Loved: The beach is astounding. There were Crabs, Fish, Turtles, Deer, Birds - all sorts of wildlife. The Cottage was clean, the community bathrooms were very clean - nice to have real plumbing when camping! Neighbors and other campers were awesome, leaving... More

I took my tween daughter for a week over Christmas. We stayed in a cottage, which was not musty or particularly dirty. The service is slow and clearly unmotivated, sad to see so many people so unhappy and resentful at work. This was my third trip to Cinnamon Bay, though the most recent trip was more than 20 years ago.... More

Cinnamon Bay campground is a good, possibly great place to camp. It is a unique camping experience, with a '60s feel, ex-hippie but unassuming. We did not find the staff to be rude or disinterested just overworked. When we approached them and were friendly, they were friendly back. We stayed for 8 nights in a canvas tent, serviceable, but not... More

Outstanding location. Friendly staff. Decent canvas tents. Other guests are wonderful. Only complaints are the items sold in the convenience store and sold in the commissary.... so gross and mostly from Sysco foods and Kraft. I feel strongly that places that are rooted in their love and care for nature should embrace those practices in their business model. All fo... More

Going back was sorta like seeing a beautiful Christ Craft boat dry rot in someone's backyard. This was my third trip to Cinnamon Bay Campground- staying in the cottages. I roomed in one of the cabins with a view of the beach. I had a view of caution tape wrapped around trees (about 20 feet in diameter) to prevent us... More

This is my favorite place on earth! It is the place where u'll find more iguanas & donkeys than people; such activities as reading news in the morning, talking about job or checking facebook - carry no meaning here whatsoever; places like DC seem to be existing far in a parallel world (if at all); I like to go there...
