We were quite pleased with our overall experience at the resort. We tried all the rest. but Caribe. It was great to have so many choices for places to eat and things to do at this resort. We stayed from Oct 30th, 2009 to Nov 7th, 2009. We researched several resorts throughout the Virgin Islands and found that this was the most bang for your buck. The Wyndam Surgar Bay was a great place to stay as we took advantage of "stay 2 nights get 2 nights free". The staff was very welcoming especially after a long day of travel and asked if we wanted to upgrade our room - which we did and were very happy. Wyndham Hotel is located near Red Hook in St Thomas which is a great area to be. It is close to the Ferry that goes over to St John and there is wonderful snorkeling at nearby beaches. The hotel is set in a hill and most rooms seem to have a water view. The pool/beach area is the place to be.
