Overall - you will rent a condo in an apartment complex (not a hotel, or timeshare, but a generic residential place). I just returned from St. Croix and had a great time. Coakley Bay Condos are a great choice if you need more than a motel room and want a nice pool and great Caribbean views. I spent a week at Coakely bay...they are condos! This is not a hotel..you might as well be at home ! We could hear the people in the next unit at all hours..they weren't exactly happy with each other from the sounds of their voices. “So Great we're buying on St. Croix !!”

Stayed there twice (2004 and 2006). We rented for a week from private owners both times. We had so much fun, we're buying a place at Coakley Bay. The views are the best I've seen anywhere--North to Buck Island and West to Christiansted. The restaurant is really nice too. Pool has a super view and is big!

My friends and I stayed at Coakly Bay Condos for the Christmas break and we absolutley loved it. The condo was very clean and furnished well. The views from our balcony were just spectacular.
