Planning our first family vacation in a decade got a little hectic in the weeks leading up to the trip, but reading about the Palms on TripAdvisor always refocused us on how excited we were. And with good reason. The Palms location and impressive ocean views were only overshadowed by the service we received. The staff gracefully accomodated all our... more

The Palms at Pelican Cove is great! Awesome beach, spectacular snorkeling, charming staff, and incredible food. We stayed here on a trip to St. Croix back in November. We were looking for a quiet place to unwind. The Palms was perfect. The beach was fabulous – long enough to take lengthy strolls on. If you get tired of baking in... more

I can't say enough about the quality service and ambiance of The Palms - the attention to our guests from the states and the food and service for our daughter's wedding on January 1 was absolutely top notch - I highly recommend The Palms for a wedding and for a place for your guests to stay - beautiful location, wonderful... more

Service was excellent, everyone was very out going and eager to help. The owners of the resort took time to speak with guests and provide helpful traveling advice about the area. The beach front was quiet but beautiful. The restaurant and bar had great food and selection. At night we were able to mingle with other resort stayers that shared... more

The staff is very pleasant and despite being sold out, the place seemed to be very quiet. Probably due to the fact that it is spread out on a relatively large piece of property. On the downside -- as others have noted, the rooms are showing alot of wear and tear. Hardware was badly rusted. I know that it's tough... more

Thank you for taking the time to give us your comments. Some of the patio doors have been in service for a while and, although they still work ok, between the sand and salt water they are just about ready to be retired. We are aware of this and, under our maintenance program, have already replaced half of them, with...

This is our third annual pilgrimage to St. Croix and to The Palms. The property is extraordinary! An intimate property that truly feels like home is why we continue to return each year. This year we returned to a newly renovated building. Nicely appointed bathrooms and updated mahogany furniture along with breath-taking views of the ocean and stunning blue skies... more

I'd love to rate the Palms a 5 because there were so many good things about it, but it wasn't perfect IMHO. We were there the week before Christmas, and the hotel was very busy hosting Christmas parties for island businesses, so the lobby and formal function room was nicely decorated. One evening, there was a huge party so the... more

The Palms is very much a part of the community. We host many special occasions (birthdays, weddings, etc.) and we are especially involved with many non-profit support organizations (Boys & Girls Club, Women’s Coalition, etc.). But we always make sure that our guests are pampered during events. The bar menu is normally available, along with room service, pizza delivery, free...

All we wanted was sand, water, and peaceful beauty. We got that and so much more. We felt like we had the whole island to ourselves when we lounged on our beachfront patio, it was great. To top it off, the staff is terrific, the food is great, and the owner and his family take you out into the breathtaking... more

What a great review - thank you! We did have a great time here with you guys. The reef here in front of the hotel (Long Reef) offers some of the best snorkeling on the island. And as you saw on our snorkel trips, the water flow over and through our reef is what contributes greatly to the diversity of...

We were so well cared for. The breakfasts out on the veranda were leisurely and delicious. Staff was so friendly and courteous. We live on St. Thomas and wanted to explore St. Croix. Very helpful with directions and suggestions of where to go, where to eat. Jump up in Christiansted was so much fun. We'd return in a heartbeat. Beach... more

This is a great place to stay. The snorkeling tour is a definite must. The restaurant offers excellent food for a good price. The owners are extremely friendly and make you feel welcome right away. I look forward to going back. more
