This is a traditional Bermundan House that has weathered all sorts of weather. The rooms are clean and basic, Erika the hostess has a work ethic off the radar. Nothing is too much trouble and she is kind and generous in nature. Zeus her husband plays the Ripsaw on Friday nights along with Mitch and the High Tide band -... More

The Salt Raker Inn provided the perfect environment for me as a teenager on holiday with my family. The free wireless internet allowed me to keep in contact with my friends whilst relaxing at the bar with a drink and chatting to the owner Erika; a wonderful, kind and accomadating hostess, addressing all our needs, such as during a power... I arrived at The Salt Raker Inn August 31. It was built in 1830 but very well cared for by Erica and her staff. I had a relaxing time until hurricane Hanna arrived. They asked if I wanted to evacuate, but I said no ! After the storm was over things got back to normal. It is a very pleasant... More

Rooms are huge, staff is extrememly friendly and accommodating. We had been diving on Wednesday, and the restaurant was closed when we got back, but Erika (the owner) asked if she could fix us a sandwich if that would be okay. She went into the kitchen and came out with two huge, delicious sandwiches. Erika is the sweetest, most attentive... More

This Inn is great due to its location (next to Oasis Diving and by the ocean) and innkeeper Erika (helpful and friendly), but lousy in terms of upkeep and amenities. We stayed for 5 days. Grand Turk is a place for diving (It was FANTASTIC), but not for Resort seekers as there isn't much to do in the evenings. We... More

The Salt Raker Inn is quaint and has a lot of history. However, if you are expecting to have new fixtures or resort service, go somewhere else. The inn is historic. The rooms have beautiful wood floors and airconditioning. They also have ceiling fans and mosquito nets. Grand Turk caters to divers. The inns there are NOT set up for... More

The Saltraker is a small 180 year-old Bermuda style whaling house and it just drips charm. Erika, the proprietor is amazing, super-friendly and fluent in English, Spanish, French, German and Italian. The rooms are clear and well maintained with excellent air conditioning (an important factor). The restaurant Secret Garden has wonderful hashed lobster and mac and cheese, and friendly folks.... What a holiday, manager was a bit like Basil Fawlty at first but when you understood his English humour he was fun, His wife great, food increadable, experience a bit like our man in Havana, Great fun, Diving Company Mitch a bit pretentious thinks he can sing across the road, keep the day job. good impersination of Chuck Norris.
