Mr simmonds could not have been more accomadating. De Reef is a real home from home. Following our recommendation, my parents stayed at De Reef more recently, and Mrs Simmonds was happy for them to make themselves at home and even allowed them to pick some of her mangoes. The maid cleaned the apartment thoroughly every day. No complaints whatsoever. more

We arrived on Bequia from Union Island via the MV Barracuda Mail boat on 10 May 2005. We met up with Raleigh (a local taxi driver, who became our regular taxi driver while on Bequia) by happenstance at the ferry dock. Raleigh offered to take us to our lodgings. I have stayed at De Reef Apartments a couple of times now, each time I have felt right at home, with a very short walk to the nicest beach on the island, maybe 100' away and a couple of great restaurants, and bars very close. De Reef is a great place for the family, with lots of room to run... more
