Traveled to Bequia for chiropractic school trip. Julie's isn't fancy but the staff will make you feel like you are at a 5 star hotel. more

This is a nice option if you're looking to save costs, but a very similar place that is less expensive, AND steps away from a beautiful beach is Lower Bay guesthouse. It's much quieter and fewer mosquitoes, since it's away from the town and the cement pavement. Both places are bare bones but when you're on Bequia, you shouldn't be... more

As I booked quite last minute and it was the Easter Regatta, I came across Julie's Guest House. It was definitely a clean room and very spacious for a single person, however both nights of my stay felt like I was sleeping next to Dog Kennels and a farm!!! I had no hot water to shower on any of the... more

Well what can i say...... Julie's seems to have a very loyal clientele but my experience was not as I would have liked. Its more like a youth hostel than a guesthouse. Ok, the food is fine and enough of it but the rooms are awful, its noisy, the toilets get blocked, not particularly clean all in all would not... more

I've stayed in Julie's a few times over a period of a few months, that was before i found Kingsville Apts in Lower Bay. Julie has 2 guest houses in Port Elizabeth, i stayed in the original one. It is located just a street behind the ferry dock in Port Elizabeth, very handy it you're running late for the ferry.... more

My wife, Dominique, and I have stayed in Bequia for 23 of the last 25 years. Each year we come `home' to Julie and Isola's. It is, quite simply, if your head and heart are `clean', the best guest house in the world. On the adorable island of Bequia, you are treated with unforced kindness, consideration and care unparallelled in... more

This is the place to stay on Bequia. Much less comercialized than most other hotels on the island. Centrally located, a stone's throw from the beaches and shopping. The food at Julie's can't be beat, down home carribean food at its best !!! I was there for the Regatta this year and I already have my plane tickets and guest... more

I had a wonderful time in Bequia, but what I especially enjoyed was the food at Julie's. I looked forward to dinner every night because of the homemade soup and the delicious meals. Julie's is located near the beach. The staff was very helpful and made my stay memorable. more

I've visited Bequia in December 2002 and stayed at Julie's Guest House. I was overwhelmed with "home away from home" atmosphere. The staff are nothing less than caring. You get that treatment that you thought only your mother could give. I enjoyed myself sooo much that I returned again for Easter Regatta 2003, and just as expected I was welcomed... more
