We stayed 8 nights in an 'Ocean view Suite'. Room was fine in itself , but even to call it ''partial' ocean view would be stretching credulity. Staff at beach bar and indigo restaurant particularly friendly and helpful. Breakfast and lunch selection very good quality.

We've been to St. Bart's quite a number of times. Most commonly, we stay at Guanahani (unless we rent for a month). As time has gone by, the place is not kept up. Too many kids managing kids. We've noticed staff turnover too. In fact, we ran into former staff on the island at other places that we came to...

Let me start by saying we don’t normally due reviews, but based on our recent experience I felt the need to do so. Our experience at the Guanahani was excellent. We arrived late in the afternoon at the airport to be greeted by one of the hotels drivers. Our luggage did not arrive with us and was left behind in...

The problem with this resort in my opinion isn't the staff (although you do have some rude ones but by and large the staff is very friendly) but the property itself. St. Bart has some of the softest, most beautiful beaches in the world yet Hotel G sits on some of the "grainy-est", hardest sand I have ever seen for...

The rooms were very nice, the food was great and also the service was very good. The spa was very good, I did two treatments and loved both. The concierge services were very helpful. The only thing I hated at this hotel is that there are some cats walking around there, even inside the fanciest restaurante: The Barto. It is very...

When we travel the beach is the most important part of our vacation. We like to be on the beach for hours. This beach had plenty of comfortable lounge chairs under cabanas, attentive staff and warm tropical breezes. The view was pleasant. There are two sides to the beach, one side is a calm lagoon that you can walk your...

Guanahani had the best and the worse of anywhere we have ever stayed.
The room was basic but charming and the shower dated from the 70s but the view beat any view we ever got including Maldives. Amazing though for 1050euro per night to not even get a bath but that was not a major issue.
The major issue was...

You would think $900+ per night would include a room with some privacy. Yes, we could see the ocean (truth be told, probably because we booked for 9 nights off season they upgraded us without us asking to an ocean view room which normally goes for $1,400 a night!) and for the first 7 nights it was good, but when...
