La posada was exactly what we needed. It's an adorable little inn in the town Esperanza. It was walking distance from the main street in town and the beaches, and since we didn't rent a car this was perfect. Lisa is a sweetheart! She told us about all the best places to see on the island. Our room had an... More

My husband talked me into visiting Vieques for a day so he could see it and know if he ever wanted to stay for an extended vacation. We ended up booking here because most hotels on the island will not let you stay less than 3 nights. Lisa who runs the inn is a true gem-she made us feel at... More

This place was a pleasant and not-so-pleasant experience. Pleasant because it reminded me of the simplicity of life. After all the glitz you see at 5 star hotels, you might actually like this local ambiance. For example, the call of Roosters will awake you in the morning. It is 50% like staying at local person's home and 50% like a... More

The rooms at Posada Vistamar are a little smaller than a college dorm room, but that's really all that you need. The rooms are air conditioned, and because they are so small, the rooms get cold pretty quickly. There is no TV, fridge, or microwave in the room, but there is a communal refridgerator and coffeemaker at the end of... More

Stayed over Labor Day weekend. We had two rooms and we were a party of 4. Our stay was short but perfect. The owner Lisa is extremely friendly and accommodating. The place is just what you need when you are spending the day at the beach and need a good nights rest. Beds are comfortable and air conditioning is each... More

I stayed at La Posada with two friends for six nights and we had a totally great experience! The owner, Lisa, was very nice about warning me when I booked over the phone that the rooms were quite small for three people (two twin beds are really all that fit, and we crammed in an extra cot), but on a... The hostess told us exactly were to go and eat, according to our interests... Very helpful if its the first time to Vieques. The place is exactly as in photos: ubicated in a neiborhood with roosters around, but this doesnt bother if your out having fun all day & night. At night its peaceful. They have a micro and big... The rooms are a great bargain if you're traveling solo or as a couple and don't mind losing sleep or wearing ear plugs. The roosters start crowing at ~4am and don't stop for hours - they roam freely in the neighboring yards and they are LOUD. The rooms are TINY, as in there's barely enough room to pass another person... More
