I loved my trip to Ponce and the Melia Hotel. Being downtown is a great and convenent experience. I have stayed at chain hotels outside of the city but found them to be boring with not much to do. Staying in the city is a great, good food, museums, and wonderful walks. The staff is excellent. more

This is the original hotel in Ponce, built in the late 19th century and recently rennovated. Mixes old-style grandeur with many of the comforts of modern times. We stayed here for one night during a 5-day trip along the coast. Nice, but small rooms did the trick for us.
