We stayed in Montego Bay but came to Negril for a day trip. The kind staff at Rockhouse allowed us to access the water from their bar area and I was instantly shocked at how amazing it was that each guest had access to the water from their rooms/cottages. A great Negril gem. Have eaten here many times - the restaurant is one of Jamaica's best, not fancy but good quality food. We just concluded 10 days in Jamaica---5 days at the Rockhouse and 5 days at Tensing Pen. I would highly recommend both. We flew into Montego Bay and used Clive Transport to get to Negril. Stayed at the Rockhouse first week of July and loved it. The hotel is beautiful and very peaceful and serene. Grounds were lush and tropical and immaculate. It's not fancy but perfect if you want the unusual! Loved the outdoor shower and my balcony. I will say there isn't a lot of privacy....security is everywhere....so I felt safe!
