We found this hotel in the internet and the pictures were nice. So we decided to spend our vacations there. When we arrived, we found a great hotel, nicer than the pictures showed it. The owners were so friendly and welcomed us in a great way. They showed us our rooms, the property and the restaurant. Everything was perfect. The... More

This hotel was not worth the $200 per night for a family of 4. We had to beg for towels and then they gave us 2 for 4 people. The pool was great and the kids loved it. The food was so-so and over priced. I got sick 1 day and then my husband got sick the next. There were... More

I was very satisfied with at this hotel. It is definitely a "little oasis" in the city of Port a Prince. Please do not let the drive to the hotel discourage you or worry you. Once inside the gates, you will find a clean, comfortable, and beautiful hotel. We ate most of our meals at the restaurant at the hotel... More

I travel a lot and enjoy "a local flavour" to my overseas hotel experiences, so to me the ambiance at this hotel is worth more than the price of the room. Safe - YES Clean - YES Reasonably priced - YES Restaurant - A 2nd floor, open-veranda-type dining experience. The "fried chicken soup" is a home-style meal in itself, but... More

Before the January 2010 earthquake I would have rated this hotel higher, because even though it falls far from any luxury, it was comfortable and the price made it a good value. But because of the big NGO’s that flooded the country after the earthquake and their willingness to pay anything for their crews and executives lodging and meals, all... More

I've stayed at HH several times, and for extended stays. They have made upgrades to some rooms and have added new linens and paint. The location is perfect for my job. I enjoy being able to swim during the hot summer after working all day. I love that I have AC at night. It is mostly quiet at the hotel,... More

What first attracted me to Habitation Hatt was that it was very close to the airport. I was welcomed by a nice staff, and checking in was very easy. They even have a very entertaining parrot at the front, which made me laugh. The room was spacious and clean. The hotel offered free internet so i was able to do... More

At $150/night the room was not worth the price. It had a dozen of mosquitoes, broken plastic chair on the balcony, eeky toilets and very poor lighting. The pool, bar and restaurant are ok but not fantastic. If you are working in PAP close to the airport area, its ok to come by to have lunch but certainly not recommended... More

We stayed here two times during our mission trip. I felt safe during my stay and the food was relatively good, the price is expensive. The air conditioned room with the fan made it worth the price! Make sure when staying here you bring your own everything i.e. towels, wash cloths etc. We meet alot of nice people there on... More

It's hard to know how to rate this hotel. I'm not a "top of the line" hotel type of gal in the US, but I don't stay at Motel 6s either. The reality is this is a hotel in a country that has been severely damaged by the earthquake. People all over the city are living in tents or something... More
